A Pink (: ????, : エーピンク; stylized as Apink) is a South Korean girl group under
formed in 2011. The group consists of , , , ,
left the group in April 2013 to focus on her studies.
The group has released five Korean extended plays and one studio album. They debuted on April 21, 2011, with "Mollayo" (???; "I Don't Know") from their debut extended play (EP)
on 's . A Pink released their Japanese debut single album, NoNoNo on October 22, 2014. Their fifth Korean EP, , was released on November 24, 2014.
The first trainee to be revealed as a member of 's new girl group was Son Na-eun, who was featured in labelmate 's "Soom" (?; "Breath"), "Beautiful" and "Niga Jeil Joha" (?? ?? ??; "I Like You the Best") music videos in late 2010. The second member revealed was the group's leader, Park Cho-rong, who was shown at the end of Beast's "" Japanese music video. It was later revealed that the new girl group would be managed by a sub-division of
known as A Cube Entertainment. On February 21, A Cube set up an official
account and revealed Oh Ha-young as the third member of A Pink. Jung Eun-ji was the fourth member revealed through A Cube's Twitter through a video of her singing a rendition of 's "". Hong Yoo-kyung was similarly revealed through an online video where she was playing the piano. Yoon Bo-mi and Kim Nam-joo were the last members to be revealed through Twitter.
Prior to the group's debut, the documentary A Pink News aired on the Korean cable channel Trend E. The show chronicled the debut process of the members of A Pink. The group released their debut EP,
and the music video for its lead single, "Mollayo" (???; "I Don't Know"), on April 19. The album had five songs, including "It Girl" and "Wishlist". The music video for "Mollayo" featured Beast's . A Pink made their debut stage performance with "Mollayo" on Mnet's M! Countdown on April 21 to promote their album. During the group's first official fanmeet, it was revealed that the name of their official fan club is Pink Panda, a play on the name of the group and the Korean word for 'fan' (?, paen). Following their promotions for "I Don't Know", the group promoted "It Girl" on the weekly music shows. A Pink also recorded the song "Uri Geunyang Saranghage Haejuseyo" (?? ?? ???? ????; "Please Let Us Love") for the popular
drama, . The soundtrack was released in September 2011.
In November 2011, A Pink began recording a reality television show called
with boy band Infinite. The show followed the journey of the two idol groups in taking care of abandoned and mistreated animals over the course of eight weeks.
A Pink performed "My My" in 2012 Asia Model Festival Awards
The group released their second EP, Snow Pink, on November 22, featuring the lead single "My My". The album featured five tracks, including "Yeah" and "Prince". Promotions for "My My" began on November 25, on ' . During their promotions for "My My", the group opened up a one-day idol tea cafe, serving visiting fans to raise profits for charity and preparing food and drinks themselves. The members also auctioned off some of their personal items for charity.
On November 29, A Pink were awarded the Best New Female Artist award at the 13th .
A Pink released a song with Beast called "Skinny Baby" for the school uniform brand Skool Looks on December 26. The track was written by Kim Taewan and Yoon Sangjo.
A Pink performed "Bubibu" at Mnet 'M Countdown' Smile Thailand Southeast Asia on September 28, 2012.
On January 5, 2012, the group won their first music show award on Mnet's M! Countdown for "My My".
Jeong Eun-ji and Beast's
released the music video for their duet song "Love Day" on March 13, which was from a project titled "A Cube for Season # Green", with the full single being released the next day. Jeong Eun-ji and Yoseob performed the song on the April 7 episode of 's .
The group performed at the Kool Haus in Toronto, Canada on March 21, 2012. On April 19, they released "4 Wol 19 Il" (4? 19?; "April 19") as a gift for their fans to celebrate their one-year anniversary. The song was composed by Kim Jin-hwan, and the lyrics were personally written by the group's leader, Park Cho-rong. "April 19" was included on their first studio album, , which was released on May 9. The group promoted the album by making weekly appearances on several music programs and performing their title song "Hush". A Pink released their third single from the album, "Bubibu", on July 6. The single was chosen by fans through an internet poll on Mnet's official website. The group began follow-up promotions for "Bubibu" on July 7.
Jung Eun-ji and Kim Nam-joo released the single "A Year Ago", featuring
of Beast, from the project A Cube For Season #White on January 3. Later in January, A Pink recorded a second collaboration single with Beast, titled "5! My Baby (Oh! My Baby)" which was for the school uniform brand Skoolooks. On January 5, A Pink appeared at the AIA K-POP 2013 concert in Hong Kong and performed several of their hit songs along with other Cube Entertainment groups 4Minute and Beast.

On April 23, it was announced that member Hong Yoo-kyung would leave the group to focus on her studies.
On May 31, Jung Eun-ji and labelmate
released a song from the A Cube For Season #Blue project titled "Short Hair", which made an all-kill immediately upon its release to online music charts.

Apink won two music show throphies from
and KBS' . Their win on KBS Music Bank marked Apink's first ever music show win on public broadcast TV. A Pink also released the music videos for the tracks "Secret Garden" and "U You" from the mini album, which concluded their promotions for the EP.

In October, A Pink held their first official fan-meeting in Taiwan and Singapore. On November 22, A Pink attended the 15th Mnet Asian Music Awards where they received the Next Generation Global Star award.
On July 11, A Pink were appointed honorary ambassadors of the Seoul Character & Licensing Fair 2013.
On December 2, A Pink collaborated with fellow Cube Entertainment acts Beast, 4Minute, , G.NA, ,
and Kim Kiri to release "Christmas Song". In the same month, A Pink recorded a collaboration single with , titled "Mini" for the school uniform brand Skoolooks.
On January 13 Apink released the single "Good Morning Baby". Their fourth EP

Yoon Bomi and Kim Namjoo formed a sub-unit called Apink BnN, and released a single, "My Darling", in June 2014, produced by . "My Darling" was later included on , the fifth extended play of A Pink.
The single "Break Up To Make Up" for the project A Cube for Season #Sky Blue, featuring Jung Eun-ji and labelmate Huh Gak, was released on July 8, topping various charts upon its release and ranked first on Gaon weekly chart for the week.
Besides activities in South Korea, the group also debuted in Japan by having a showcase on August 4. They released their first Japanese single album,
(consists of Japanese version of two songs, "NoNoNo" and "My My") on October 22.
In September, A Pink had a fundraising campaign to build a hospital specifically for
(ALS) patients, and it met its goal just within a day. The campaign ended on November 7, and all the money collected was donated to the Seungil Hope Foundation.

On November 13, A Pink received the Best Female Dance award at the 6th , for their song "Mr. Chu".
On November 24, after a one week delay, A Pink released their fifth EP, Pink Luv, as well as the music video for their title song, "Luv". They performed their first comeback stage on November 21 on Music Bank. Hours after its release, "Luv" achieved number 1 on all the major online music charts including Melon, Naver, Daum, Mnet and Olleh. A Pink also won first place on all three major music shows two weeks in a row, the only girl group to do so in 2014.
A Pink's first solo concert, Pink Paradise, will be held at Olympic Hall,
on January 30–31, 2015. All 7200 concert tickets were sold out within two minutes after the sales opening.
