[转载]Kindle&Fire刷机：Android&4.0&ICS&from&Kindle
用了一晚，终于刷完了，刷的是MIUI的ICS版本，还是有些不稳定，不建议不熟悉Android的朋友刷，至少要懂ADB是干嘛的。。。
第一步：用BurritoRoot3 Root Kindle Fire，然后安装Bootloader：
详细步骤见链接：1.&
第二步：Install MIUI 4.0 for the Kindle Fire (custom version of
Android 4.0)
第三步：发现MIUI的Launcher总是Crash，决定换成原汁原味的ICS，
在第二步之后改装了其他的Launcher，比如Go Launcher之后解决了Crash的问题。
用了半个小时，发现USB
Storage不好使，还是直接给刷了最新的ROM，直接放在sdcard里，同第二步操作一遍就成：
记得装完系统，要在Recovery Mode下面装ICS的Google的Apps。
赞，这个版本相当稳定！！！！

is an all in one package, to root and install the custom
bootlaoder, FireFireFire, onto the KindleFire.
Instructions
are pretty plain and simple, however you will have to get adb
working on your own (if you have written, or know of adb guides for
the Kindle Fire please PM me to list them here).
root, installs superuser, installs su and installs
the&&bootloader.
this time, we do not have permission to distribute any recovery,
once one is available for our use, we will add auto flashing of
shell chmod 777 /data/local/tmp
app, follow directions given by the app.

have the best of both worlds with MIUI 4.0 for the Kindle Fire.
It’s a custom version of Android based on Android 4.0 — but with
a highly customized user interface.
The MIUI team released an&for the Kindle Fire this
It has many of the advantages of Android 4.0, including a user
interface that doesn’t require hardware buttons, a quick settings
panel, and an improved recent apps menu — although the recent apps
menu doesn’t seem to be working properly in this build.
There are also a handful of custom apps including an MIUI file
browser, and backup utility. MIUI 4.0 for the
Kindle&Fire&comes with the Google
suite of apps preinstalled, including the Android Market, Gmail,
and Google Maps. It also has the Amazon Appstore preloaded.
That makes it easy to download and install third party apps —
even the Amazon Kindle app, if you want to use your Kindle Fire to
read Kindle eBooks.
How to install MIUI 4.0 on the Kindle Fire
In order to install MIUI 4.0, you’ll need
to&or another custom recovery app. Then
follow these steps:
Download&MIUI.us_blaze_4.0.3-2.2.3-alpha_0xD34D.zip
from the&&and copy it to your Kindle Fire’s
Turn off you tablet by pressing and holding the power button
and then selecting the shut down option.
Press the power button again to turn your tablet on.
When you see the yellow triangle with a fire icon, press and
hold the power button until it glows orange instead of green.
Soon TWRP 2.0 should load.
It’s a good idea at this point to make a backup of your system
in case you decide you want to go back to whatever software you’re
currently using. Tap the backup button to get started.
Once that’s done, it’s also a good idea to wipe your data
before continuing — from the home screen choose the Wipe icon and
then the Factory Reset option. This step may not be necessary, but
it can help avoid problems.
From the home screen, tap the install button and then navigate
to the directory
where&MIUI.us_blaze_4.0.3-2.2.3-alpha_0xD34D.zip
is located and select it.
Tap the big button that says Flash to start the install
When the installation is complete, choose the “reboot system”
option to restart your tablet and load MIUI 4.0.
The Amazon Kindle Fire is a $199 tablet with a 7 inch, 1024 x
600 pixel display and a 1 GHz TI OMAP 4 dual core processor and 8GB
of storage. It normally ships with Amazon’s custom version of
Google Android, but with software such as CyanogenMod or MIUI, it’s
possible to transform the look and feel of the tablet
dramatically.

there is one thing that you&may&have
to do in order to get the usb to mount. if after you install and
you can't get the usb to mount on reboot and it says that your usb
debugging is enabled but nothing else (assuming you have usb
debugging enabled) you will have to adb shell and type the
following command
rm /data/property/persist.sys.usb.config
^ that's an RM FYI or you can just copy that and paste it, press
enter and if it says nothing, then you can reboot and it will mount
on the next reboot :-)

　　12月19日消息，意想不到的是，2011年发布的亚马逊第一代7英寸平板电脑Kindle Fire竟然可以运行原生Android 4.2 Jelly Bean系统！近日XDA论坛的大神Hashcode已经成功将4.2移植到第一代Kindle Fire这朵昨日黄花上。你要知道，这可是一部采用定制的Android 2.3操作系统，只有512MB RAM的设备。
　　据称，目前该Android 4.2刷机包已经相当完善，只有少数功能暂时无法使用：新版的类Swype键盘(本来也就仅限英文输入法能用)、多用户功能。如果你觉得这两个功能作用不大，完全可以让你的老机换新ROM。虽然屏幕分辨率比Nexus 7低，内存也比较少，但至少拥有一颗双核的OMAP 4处理器。升级到Android 4.2，还是有焕然一新的感觉的。
　　不过你可别搞错了，该刷机包仅限第一代Kindle Fire，第二代的Kindle Fire(就是拥有1GB内存，运行Android 4.0的货)以及Kindle Fire HD都不支持。
