继今年7月底放出匿名聊天程序Bleep的早期封测版（Pre-Alpha）之后，BitTorrent在本周开放Bleep的Alpha（a）版公开测试，让任何人都可参与，同时在Windows版之外另外提供Andorid与Mac OS版。
Bleep是BitTorrent基于保障用户通信隐私而开发的聊天平台，它并不通过中央服务器来处理信息，而是利用可支持加密的分散式哈希表（Distributed hash table，DHT）来提供通信的查找服务，每个以Bleep传送的信息都是端对端加密，只存储在用户的设备上，保障信息的私密性，用户可删除加密的信息历史记录，以确保无从追踪通信来源。
Bleep支持文字及语音聊天，用户可以电子邮件、手机号码，或选择匿名登录，可导入谷歌通讯录，可通过电子邮件、信息，或公开密钥邀请好友加入，目前只能发信息给在线的好友。
BitTorrent的项目团队说明了Bleep的运行模式，表示当用户首次安装Bleep时，系统会建立一个可支持多个设备的密钥，此一密钥是以用户账号加密，让外人无法存取，除非用户以电子邮件或电话号码注册，否则Bleep一开始会把所有用户都视为匿名注册。Bleep服务器上回存储由密钥衍生的公开密钥，以作为与其他用户连接的凭证。
BitTorrent表示，Bleep主要想保护的资料为“是谁在什么时间发信息给谁？”以及双方的通信时间等，由于现阶段的a版会传送大量的数据，因此建议用户最好在Wi-Fi环境下使用，未来则会改善此一问题。（编辑/Randy）您当前位置：

在考虑新的服务的时候，很多人可能最闲考虑的会是数据隐私问题，尤其是消息传递应用程序。点对点文件分发服务BitTorrent公司已经宣布了Bleep应用的公众可用性，这是一款会加密P2P语音通话和 聊天的应用,目前仅在Mac和安卓系统上可用，还有Windows版本应用程序。　　BitTorrent公司的发言人表示，Bleep应用的IOS版本应用程序预计将在不久的将来登陆iPhone手机。BitTorrent公司曾经因为盗版事件而失去人们的信任，其在互联网数据隐私上面做的确实不够好。但是BitTorrent公司一再表示，Bleep应用是完全的端到端加密,信息和其他数据只存储在用户自己的设备上，用户还可以删除消息历史,这样其信息和谈话记录将“不留痕迹”。
