在决心创立个人事业之前，Mario Dedioniggi 已在 Ambrosio（轮框制造商）服务超过了 10 个年头。时值 1961，他选择米兰 (Milan) 作为奋斗的开始。Mario 的第一家店铺是只有三间房的货仓，还有一位员工和一部弯管机。将钢管弯成曲线玲珑的车手把，本就不是件易事。Ambrosio 的经验让他熟能生巧。他对未来其实有许多憧憬，然而，万事起头难。小货仓似乎是个不错的发迹地。
Dedioniggi 并不担心枝微末节，而是全心全力的投入工作。新公司的名字，让人一目了然：Tecnologia del Tubo Torinese (Turin Tube Technology，杜灵弯管科技)。成串的字母旋即简化成 Tecno Tubo Torino，最后是 3ttt，一个家誉户晓的简称。
3ttt 初期只选用钢为原料，因为当时毫无替代品。但是 Dedioniggi 对新合金的探索从未停止，一种轻到可以让飞机上青天的金属。他非常明白轻量化对的重要性，铝合金的强度和钢相同，但是减去的重量负担却很可观。
